HISTORY
R&G Tool and Die Ltd. was founded in 1979 by Risto and Giovanni Sorbera, two skilled machinists with a passion for producing high-quality tools and dies. With a small team of dedicated craftsmen and a modest workshop in Scarborough, they began to lay the foundation for what would become a leading name in the metal fabrication industry.
Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, the company’s reputation for quality and reliability spread and R&G expanded its facilities to take on larger and more complex projects. Recognizing the evolving needs of their clients and the industry’s shift towards comprehensive fabrication solutions, R&G Tool and Die Ltd. diversified their services, incorporating laser cutting into their capabilities. This new technology reflected the company’s expanded scope and commitment to providing end-to-end metal fabrication services.
